Kuch Hai is hand-picked and compiled every week by Divya Prabhakar. Prabhakar has a double major in Fine Arts and Computer Science, and has worked as an engineer at Adobe and Stitch Fix. Currently she leads the Digital Product Design team at Form Energy, focused on powering a clean and reliable grid. She has two kids and lives in New York. No AI is ever involved in the selections within Kuch Hai.

Who is a Kuch Hai reader?

Kuch Hai, is Hindi for “it has a certain something”, akin to a “je ne sais quoi”. This endeavor is solely focused on one thing: you as the viewer, coming across a piece of art that makes you feel something.

Kuch Hai readers want to be shown what to chase, not be told what to think about art. Give them an artist’s name and a compelling image, and they’ll open ten browser tabs, cross-reference dealers, find the monograph, and plan a trip to see a piece in person.
